So he resolved to get on Idia’s level in hopes of improving communication. Although Idia’s level, as Azul often noted, was not exactly a place he wanted to be. While Magicord could be used for business purposes, that wasn’t what drew people in. “are you okay?” he asks, holding your arm so you wouldn’t fall. he was worried, more than worried. if he could show more of his emotions, anyone could see he was panicking.
“guess i can fight a bit more until i pass out.” you offer him a faint chuckle that makes him roll his eyes. how can you be so lighthearted?
“i’ll be by your side,” he supports your weight when seeing you stumble. “you know… just to make sure…” he clears his throat.
you smile, pushing him lightly. “keep your eyes focused on this battle, marimo. i can take care of myself.” you point to the men who were approaching you. zoro leaves your arm, so he can hold his swords correctly.
